Happy New Year!!!! I hope all of you are doing well and are in good health and spirits!

While it was a hard year for me and many of my friends, 2008 wasn’t all bad. In my life, graduating from college was an epic moment – ESPECIALLY because our new President, Barack Obama, was the commencement speaker and I got to shake his hand and wish him good luck!

I like to think it was my overeager gushing that made it possible for him to win….

I am a firm believer that we have to start each new year by acknowledging all the good that the universe brought us in the previous year. And one huge blessing that I’m grateful for is the number of superstars that I know.

We all have people in our lives who are just brimming with creativity and personality and I want to take some time to introduce ya’ll to some of the talent in my life.
