The Fierceness: Nicole Richie as Lady Gaga

Sometimes the stars collide and magic is made.

MAGIC, I SAY!

That’s kind of how I feel about BlackBook‘s latest spread with Nicole Richie dressed as Lady Gaga.

If you knew me about three years ago, you’d know that I absolutely adored Nicole Richie – to the point of near obsession. Despite being a sophomore in college, and like you know…totally grown up and stuffzzz…, I had a collage on my closet doors of all of my favorite Richie looks. [yiiikes] Flash forward to the present day, the collage is long gone (ripped down in my end of the year haste) and while I still love Richie (nah, I can’t really explain), I still collect inspiring photos of her ….and Lady Gaga in a folder on my laptop. So imagine my excitement when my roomie extraordinaire Promiti hooked me up with a link to these photos.

There are polarized opinions on the BlackBook spread. While some fans, like me, think it’s stunning and really lighthearted, other people wonder what exactly the point is – why didn’t BlackBook just ask Gaga to do it instead of hiring another “celeb” to impersonate her?  To that, I say : “ugh, whateva” and just want to enjoy the photos- I don’t really care why it is that they exist.

My real question is, how long before Christina Aguilera throws another temper tantrum and begs to be noticed?

I am also a Nicole fan…and was almost obsessed haha! I adored her on the Simple Life, and yes I watched every season and own the DVDs. I think it’s because she’s so hilarious. Also because she’s been through so much and came out a strong, positive role model. I gotta say, I hate those gold pants she’s wearing though =( It looks like she shit her pants haha. I just can’t get into that style!
