RIP: Bea Arthur

Last night, while getting ready for Promiti’s birthday, we learned via Twitter that Bea Arthur had passed away. My first reaction was to clutch a hand to my heart and say “No!” – Linde later told me that she had a very similar reaction. We, collectively, talk about Bea Arthur pretty frequently and so it’s hard to imagine that she is no longer “with us”. Not too long ago, I even did a post on Golden Girls fashion – one of my favorite pieces that I’ve done for Trendology! Bea Arthur will be sorely missed.

when I first heard of Bea Arthur’s passing, my heart was saddened. Then while watching one of my daily doses of the “Golden Girls”, I thought to myself, “She would not want us to be sad!” She would want us to celebrate her life, her accomplishments. The world has lost a truly talented and gifted woman, but heaven has gained a beautiful soul. I will MISS you Bea!
We will be happy to know that her spirit will live on in Turkey…
